The recipient of this year's Emerson Liscum Diven Prize was recently announced at Elmira College's Commencement exercises. The Prize is awarded annually to a senior who has high academic achievement and has contributed the most scholarly work in biology. The Prize is awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Biology.
The Elmira College Class of 2018 included more than 140 graduates receiving summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude honors at the College's 160th Commencement on Saturday, June 2 at the Murray Athletic Center, Pine Valley. The exercises included 270 undergraduate and 27 graduate students.

The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall will host exhibitions of work by students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. From April 17 to May 5, the gallery hosts Bachelor of Fine Arts degree candidates' exhibitions by students from the Division of Art & Design. Four separate installments feature BFA thesis exhibitions by senior students from the Studio Art and Photography programs. These exhibitions include photography, photographic installation, sound installation, sculpture, painting and printmaking. Each group's exhibition will host a reception.
